Breaking Bad is really honestly the best show I've ever watched. I am a HUGE FAN. Like WOAH HUGE.

I watched all of The Walking Dead the other week and I liked it a lot. I think that perhaps a lot of people are wanting a super action bam bam shotgun 24/7 killing zombie show with everyone just going crazy all 45 minutes of the episode, but I think the show is more so dealing with the humanity, or lack there of in a zombie apocalypse. It's more focused on the people and how they handle their problems, each other, and each others problems. It is really more of a drama than an action show so I think a lot of people don't expect that and get turned off.

I on the other hand really liked it, even season 2, which people said wasn't as good, because I enjoy character development and interaction, which not everyone who is looking for a zombie beat 'em up might find entertaining.

I like dramas that make you think twice about people, and show their true colors. To me, the zombies are a plot device used to put pressure on the characters and force them to make big decisions. Nobody watches The Walking Dead for the action, although when there is action, it seems pretty well executed. I really like Rick, not exactly a hero but not exactly an anti-hero either.

My friend got me watching Breaking Bad about two months ago. I am with you on that one, it is a really good show! I need to catch up because I am only on season three at this point and season five just started...

As for the Walking Dead. Huge fan of that as well! I agree am thankful that they focus on the people rather than non stop zombies. Talking about getting boring! Could you imagine how bad that would be? I envision Pinky and the Brain

Yawn!!! It would get old. The character development is fantastic and much like Game of Thrones, they are not scared to kill a main character off. It really is a great show! So is Game of Thrones. If you haven't seen it, add that to you list!

was just following the storyline of the original comic, which its based off of, but yes I really like The Walking Dead for its character development and apocalypse survival aspects.
And I guess since I always hear positive stuff about Breaking Bad I should try it too.

Usually its not the actual computer consuming noticeably more energy but actually the increased A/C usage because computers can give off a lot heat when running hard, like most of us here do with our computers. Not saying that's what it was, just something to think about though. Plus its summer. idk.

Really? I mean, my computer consumes about 350 Watt in average. One kilowatt hour is currently 25 cts (Euro). I can use my pc 3 hours for that. Should be near impossible to get 140 Dollars extra, I guess energy is cheaper in USA (by the half?). Even with AC, which we don't have in private homes (like mine) in Germany, it should not be possible.

My computer warms the room a bit, yes, but not by very much.

I'll be honest. That info was from a computer science professor I had who told us about how that happened to him. The guy is pretty old, so this was at least true a decade or two ago. Maybe technology/energy efficiency in either area caught up since then. I'm too lazy too research it atm.
If you think about it though, even if the computer pushes the room's temperature up just one degree, that could be one degree too much and would keep kicking the A/C on continuously throughout the day. Then again you could say the same for someone just being in the room for long periods of time.
