I ordered more screens and a press for silk screening. The Press arrives tomorrow, but the screens will arrive on Friday. Problem is, they are shipped to my work and we are closed Fridays. I hate when stuff works out like that.

Yeah, that's not likely to happen. There are electronic locks and my card does not work beyond the hours of 8:00 to 5:00 on days we are open. The schedule is programmed in and unless I get a different card there is no getting around it. I could likely get a card allowing me to get in, but I would risk getting my friend in trouble and I would rather wait to get my press than risk getting a friend in some shit...

If the mail was reliable as far as timing I would consider walking in and grabbing them. But I walk two miles to work, and carrying 5 "10 x 14" screens with wooden frames two miles just does not sound fun at all. I could grab a cab, but that would cost me 10 bucks. Instead I am just going to strip the screens I have already and re-expose them to make better screens.

Shin splints, and I get my 65 lb (30kg) tomorrow to add to the pain. That and we do more than 500 push ups and run more than 2 miles in ABUs a day.

Every year they put up a poster of all the faculty and staff with pictures and some simple facts about us that they get from a few questions we answer. I answered the first two seriously, but the third I wanted to be a little funny so I typed the following answer to the question "Do you have a pet? What is your pet’s name and one fun or interesting fact about him/her?"

I have a pet rock named Rocky. In all honesty, he is not very interesting and most of his time is spent sitting around collecting dust.

The girl in charge of making the poster said she can't use it because parents will see it. WTF?!? People need to lighten up!
