yeah, the timing of 'day' was a bit wonky, and unannounced until the last second...it hasn't been all that well run imho. Plenty of time to go, though :D

Can't get a proper download link - I can get all the mozilla/spreadfirefox pages, but every download link leads me to a FF2 download button :P

Did you pledge? It gives you a direct download link.

Fixed.

Yeah, I was using that link and it kept giving me the firefox 2 download page, I tried a bunch of times, force-refreshed, etc. It was very odd...then I used the box down at the bottom to change language to English (British) instead of the US default...and it gave me the FF3 page! Same thing happened on my GF's mac just a second ago. Stuck cookie or something, I guess...For anyone having similar difficulties, give that a go.

Anyhoo, I got it now. It downloads pretty fast at the mo, for those about to get it.

They only recently updated their page to show the FF3 link. The other sections of the site still redirect to https://outage-org.nslb.sj.mozilla.com/

I don't like the new UI. The fact that Firefox 3 tailors itself to your OS is annoying me, since I have Vista, but didn't like the Aero interface so switched to Windows Classic. And now Firefox has taken on that blue glassy look that I don't like, instead of the simple colorful look of Firefox 2.

Jesus christ I'm not happy. Mine crashes all the god damn time. Trying to watch Zero Punctuation and it's crashing every second page load.

I've got no complaints so far - I like the new interface, and absolutely no crashing.

Crashing is mostly related to Adobe's Flash Player ...
You can change the look back to FF2 with a simple skin, btw.

No one's made a Firefox 2 skin yet for Firefox 3 as far as I could tell.

Images on webpages load fine for me, but then when I click on them to zoom in on a new page they will not load, it says Image Contains Errors and wont load, but it says that for every image.

The two main features I was hoping for haven't been implemented, so I'll stick with IE.

I wanted an add new tab button on the toolbar, and the ability to set new tabs to open the homepage.

If I'm being blind and these features have been added please tell me how!

Rightclick on toolbar and go to customize, there should be a new tab button there. If not, download Tab Mix Plus. Or just use the keyboard shortcut: [ctrl]+[t]

1. Go to View -> Toolbars -> Customise and drag the buttons on that you want.
2. Click your middle mouse button on the home link at the top, it will open the homepage in a new tab.
