I'll put it like this: I've never seen Mr Happy produce anything near the quality he has now.

It was between his and two other entries but because of sheer brilliance in design and execution he gets my vote. Good job.

I'm sorry my entry has annoyed a handful of you, namely Jest.

I wasn't expecting loads of votes either. =(

Don't be sorry. You can enter whatever the fuck you like, I could've made a box textured with brick and entered it, its all whether people vote for it.

There was no rule saying what you could and couldn't contain in your map.

And you're doing shockingly well........

Watch it; I don't care if you are joking. Just because I'm American, doesn't mean I'm stupid...

My map was originally going to be a C17 setting, but I wasn't happy with how it was coming out, etc. So I went for something a little different.

You see anti-americans all around you :P
no seriously, I love your entry I just had to joke about the black and white thing.

MrTwoVideocards.... isn't taht a picture from your mod?

I don't think that should be included as it was hardly made for this contest.

Although it looks nice, well done in that respect.

He's free to post screenshots of maps that he's spent an unlimited and unconstrained amount of time on so long as they haven't been in any previous battle.

Yeah they never were used in any other battles at all. But whoa hey good job mr.happy you are first! I know it was from my mod yet i thought it really represented my mind, im not sure why. Yet however i did put a strain load of effort into this and i feel its very subtle yet sends a pretty clear message. :-D

Question: How much time did each of you put in your maps roughly?

Looks like I'm going to be 5th place this time. Damn, I was hoping for a little more recognition with this map. Oh well, I guess it's my destiny to come in middle place... :?

The map itself took a few nights of work to do, and it took a day of scanning, resizing, editing, and compiling my sketches to put in the map.

Upriser gets my vote, i absolutely love the symbolism in that picture, truely amazing.

Mappingwise there were betters, but I find the actual assignment, "identify yourself" to be a lot more than just "map something you like". The first image is bulging with symbolism, which the other maps, though nice looking, lack allmost entirely. Because of that, HypR is a second place for this contents if you ask me, it too has some symbolism i like.
