I agree with sathor, add one or two more around somewhere, and maybe increase their width. Yours is my favorite so far, amazing work WhiteDevil.

I've been on a vacation last few days, I didn't get a chance to fix the skybox on my map yet. :/ no update from me today...

Im kind of new to mapping and I'm thinking of submitting my map, Its sort of a AC2 inspired map, its called GG_tuscany, and you can climb all over the map, sort of like the actual game.

I'm liking the soft lighting on the building IMUS. :D It's starting to look a lot better.

I fixed the skybox, my map looks way cool in LDR mode, but my map's all dark in HDR mode. Help?

Whitedevil's is by far my favorite entry. Those crystals are simply sublime.


PS: Did you make those rock formations (the pillars) as well? They look great too.

Whitedevil, a few ideas came to mind how to add more lighting.

-glowing fireflies
-some kind of animal/robotic animal that emits light (steampunk-flashlight-bat or something)
-boats with lights on them but no people

I bet I can fix it. but first something that might help: press alt + P, it checks for problems. if that doesn't work, try this:

Those help me a lot. But sometimes even after that, it can crash for what seems like no reason. post the vmf here and I'll see if I can help.

Map progress update:
I am accustomed to adding easter eggs to my maps, so I did. Will post screenies soon. also, considering changing the theme a little, as the easter egg only some-what fits the Highway 17 look.

MY EYES!!! Too much HDR makin' mah head spin! Unfortunately, either i won't finish my map by the weekend, or I've lost the will to map. :/ only time will tell.

I'll be away from all technology until Wednesday the 20th and I'll give you guys another 3 days to finish your entries to sort out any problems. The next Map Battle will start the following Monday on the 25th, as previously planned.
