Seems straightforward.
I shall try my hand at this although working with large areas tends to be the very limited edge of the engine.
Expecting a lot of corner cutting, loss of quality, and/or fps.
But as it is just a still scene I presume it does not actually have to be playable?

Pretty much right in the centre of the screen, theres a retarded looking bent palm tree. I'd suggest fixing it.

Nothing ever has to be playable. Just make some nice screenshots, yo!

Yeah, 1 FPM (frame per minute, see what I did thar?) is absolutely fine.

And I'm hoping to keep them going, Dr. Evil. ^^

Looking good so far, glad to see some people are coming out of lurking haha.

FPS isn't an issue whatsoever. Entries are voted for based on their looks, and how well they convey the theme of the battle.

I think I'll try this out. I haven't been in a map battle for a long time, and I never showed what I did then.

Not really liking my cliff texture so far, but its early yet, plenty of time to fix it up.

Are we allowed to use Global Offensive as our engine?

That would probably be an unfair advantage, as not everyone has got into the beta. You could however use Alien Swarm.

I don't see why it would be an advantage to be honest. You can't have those fancy shadows yet as we don't have the SDK.
