You're missing Phott's point Vilham, he's saying that just because Source doesn't come with a stock of models that can be considered surreal that doesn't mean that it would be impossible to create a surreal environment in the game, even without modeling.

Anyway, seems like a really cool theme.

seriously... both of you need to learn to read before attacking someone else's post. Where did I say it would be impossible? I didn't. I merely highlighted that such a theme is highly limiting in itself. Something you just admitted yourself. I even pointed out that one of the scenes so far could be used.

Everyone's moaning they want something limiting so people don't start creating absolutely random products, but they also want something that allows a lot of variation.

How about a dock theme? It can be from whatever era, whatever condition, but it must be the docking place for a vehicle of some sort. (Now it's not limited to ships.)

Oh man, you guys are making it difficult for me here.
I've had something along the lines of docks/wet on my mind for a whole month!

But then the surrealism discussion started. And I figured: Ok this is easy, let's go with surrealism, that's a hot topic and an interesting theme..
But then you come up with docks/water/wetness etc. Just when I had about changed my mind..

And now another great suggestion in the form of Eden.

The other water battle was from when Barrakid was still here. There have been a lot of new members since then so it would have almost completely different entrants. Also the theme could be refined to underwater or docks if it's too similar.
