Interlopers.net Forum - Half-Life 2 News & Tutorials

I've been working on and off on the new, refreshed Interlopers site and I thought I'd open up what I've got so far to the forum members.

Things to remember:

• This is very much WIP so some pages/links will be broken or look funny
• All the front-end code (HTML, CSS & JS) has been re-written or drastically tweaked
• Some features are yet to be added (dropdowns for the map battles, expanding advanced search area etc)
• The banners in rotation are not final, I'm yet to add others
• Please don't suggest radical changes (omg 3 columnz plz)

This is not a re-design, but more of an improvement for usability and efficiency

I love it.

Nice! Like the added width and a lot of the small things like the change to the User panel on the front page and the latest map battle up on the top.

Yeah i've always found the tutorial categories a little confusing too, but I love the breadcrumb navigation for them!

I like it. I have a few suggestions though:

• Whenever I'm entering a thread, it automatically jumps to the bottom of the site. Not very useful.
• And this is a long one: Whenever I'm posting a reply in any thread, after a while, that yellow bar at the bottom shows up (you know, the one that can make the reply-window bigger). By the time that happens, I've already started writing. And with my big fingers, I tend to hit the wrong keys all the time. So I have to press the backspace key. And this is the problem, because as you probably know, when that yellow bar pops up, you kinda... jump out of the reply window (yay for being able to describe stuff in English), and therefore, when hitting backspace, I go back to the previous page instead of erasing text. Annyoing as hell.
