Low poly model

After numerous trials and errors I still haven’t reached a conclusion and thought that it’s more likely someone here can shed some light on this problem.

Working in the latest engine EP2 (with the new beta thing too), when I simply lay around a random cast of npc_citizens without tasks, I get the full models, but whenever I tick an odd flag or give them a scripted_sequence to follow I get this ugly sack of joe.

Dummed it down to this, even if the flags are similar, directly I tell them what I want them to do they turn into mr. Potato Head without all the accessories for some reason.
