trouble with a prop_dynamic elevator

Postby Aug88 on Mon May 10, 2010 6:05 pm

hey guys

im making a map that has a rotating elevator in it the elevator itself is a model (prop_dynamic).
I got it to move and all but when i stand on it and the elevator is going down it slowly shoves me to the side into the elevator railing and i get stuck in it ,I also get this error message spammed in console something like
CEngineTrace::Clipraytophysics : no-model ,bbox {0,0,0} {0,0,0}
never seen it before and i cant seem to find the model error either...
anyone got a sollution for that ?

cheers

If you are getting stuck in the model then it's probably an issue with moving model collision. You could disable the elevator model's collision and instead use an invisible func_brush where the elevator's collision hull should be.
