3DMark Scores changed???

Postby MayheM on Fri Aug 26, 2011 3:23 am

So I built a beast of a machine. Last time i used 3DMark was a while back and it scored totally differently. I am used to seeing scores in the 20,000 range while the latest benchmark I just ran yielded the below results.

Now from the looks of the results and the "Similar Results", it looks like other machines are not even close. I also looked up high scores on 3DMark 11 and I found the top scores seem to be around 9,000 or so. Does anyone know how the hell to judge the new scoring on 3DMark?

Its similar to comparing penis size in real life: take the same measuring tape (same make, same version) and measure both objects.

Showing off your SLI rig, eh?
Histogram of similar systems shows that most of them score in 15k range, which means your score is fine.
