I think Bio and Resume should be on the same page.

Mr Habboi

I really need your opinion of this matter.

Yours sincerely
Mr slow.

Also I made some changes to the design (very small changes) so it will load faster/ allow me to add more content easily.

Excellent work mate. I'm really impressed.

Put them together. But replace the end one with Blog. I wanted to add a link to blog but forgot and was gonna make the bubbles at the bottom take you there but this is much better.

And I won't be adding any more images than what is shown. However the other pages is another matter. They'll be in a more organised format with lines that divide each section maybe. Actually I think I'll stick to images only but add captions to the larger images when opened in that viewer thing.

Keep up the good work my slowpoke. Maybe soon you'll evolve into...

BLASTPOKE

Dear Mr Nicholls

It would seem as if the site is almost ready to launch just hit me up with all the content and I will get around to implementing http://highslide.com/ into the site.

Yours sincerely

Mr B

Long time no see Mr Surfa. I've been busy lately with uni but I'm done now and I noticed you stopped working on the portfolio and I can see you've sexed yours up as well ;)

Anyway I wanted to post here cause I was thinking about my other pages and I did a mock up of what I think the professional and personal pages should look like. I hope it isn't too much trouble and I've tried to make it so all you need to do is type in some text and add in a couple of images.

At first I was gonna have all my work on one page but I realised that'd be overkill so I haven't done it yet but I intend to have a page before each section with pictures from all my work plastered all over it so that:

1. They don't have to keep clicking on each link to see the pictures.
2. Once they have seen all the pictures they might want to see some information about the game so they can click a link that'll take them to the page I've designed below.

http://upload.habboi.co.uk/portfolio_otherpage.psd

I hope that makes sense. So in a way they'll be a "splash" page (if you want to call it that) containing everything I've made up to this point and if they want to see more information then they'll click on a link below each set of pictures. I've yet to design the "splash" page but for now if you could get this one above working I'd hug you.

Sorry to be a bother XD

P.S. The description for the wolf game sucks balls and I cba to re-write tonight so yeah fill it with your gibberish or whatever.

Yeah I have been busy with stuff. I am in examination time although mine seem to be spread all over the shop. My first one was today and my last is on June the 29th so there is some crazy gaps in between (good for revision and what not). Anyway what you have seems fine and I will get to that at some point probably some next week,

Well as long as you don't fail your exams. Study well. I'm working on the splash page today which is basically a load of "temp" images lined up with a link below each set of pictures. Anyway thanks a lot.

*edit*

Ok here's the splash page design for professional and personal. Just do the personal page and copy it for prof as I obviously have nothing yet.

That's really cool.
It'd be awesome if you could make the images look slanted and more 3D with borders.

Pixel/8-Bit theme is a very strong theme, it's very recognizable when you see something that doesn't belong. That's my main concern with your design, it's a bit conflicting. The "Enviromental Artist" text color glow doesn't fit as it gives a smooth edge to a style that is characterized by rough edges and clear lines. I'm not sure about using that background on the menu-bar and content box (the leaves) either. The grey color, red text and curly leaves gives me a feeling of christmas for some reason.

I'd also consider switching out that grey color (in content div) with something else not so boring, it's doesn't go well with your content (the screenshots) which are very colorful and nice to look at. What is that nature-themed game by the way? it looks great.

my suggestions:
* change color of content div to a much brighter grey or try something else completely.
* remove the background texture of the content div, add some pixel/8bit look to it instead to fit better with your theme.
* remove the environmental art glow
* remove the menu background texture
* why did you choose the pixel theme? is it because it represents you(r work) or video games? or is it just because it looks nice? whatever your answer is, try to integrate that answer into the design.
* i don't think you need to switch the main background (the white rays) actually, I don't feel/think it's going to conflict. Maybe the main background, menu background and content background is creating too much noise when used together?

It's an unnamed Wolf Game as a last year project for university. Basically what you see is my work although this is where it goes a bit all over the place. Basically a member on here called Crowbarska made the terrain height maps and then did a little painting. I then took the levels and worked on the terrain and painted them some more. Then he took the first level, Spring, and basically changed it completely so what you see is a combination of mine and Crowbarska's work.

It's an unfinished game and will probably never see the light of day.

I'll try that sometime.

* remove the background texture of the content div, add some pixel/8bit look to it instead to fit better with your theme.

I guess that makes sense. I added flowers cause they looked nice but I never really thought about a theme. Good idea.

* remove the environmental art glow

Gonna probably say no to this. I like it as it almost makes the line "godly" and divides it up from the rest.

* remove the menu background texture

I had it plain before and it was boring :< Perhaps different shapes or more opacity will make you happy :>

* why did you choose the pixel theme? is it because it represents you(r work) or video games? or is it just because it looks nice? whatever your answer is, try to integrate that answer into the design.

You're right. I chose it cause it looked nice and clean. I never really thought of a theme. Although funny enough, yes, it does reflect my inner gamer.

* i don't think you need to switch the main background (the white rays) actually, I don't feel/think it's going to conflict. Maybe the main background, menu background and content background is creating too much noise when used together?

Maybe...You know I uploaded a PSD above all this. If you want you could mess with it and show me what you think it should look like. I'd appreciate that.
