Also, I've been tossing around some domain names...

www.jginfl.com
www.justongriggs.com
or www.griggsj.com

Im leaning more toward jginfl.com since I use jginfl for my username for almost everything....

suggestions?

I'd go with justongriggs, nobody can remember jginfl or griggsj.

It is a good thing you did not go with www.jginfl.com. That would be so damn annoying to tell people and actually have them remember it. To be able to use your name is always a good thing. They will always think of your name when looking at your work.

Sheilawhite, the best I can say is look at other peoples portfolios and get ideas. See what you like about many different sites and then incorporate what you like into yours. The key is doing that in a tasteful way. I find it is always a good idea to start out in photoshop and come up with a basic layout and color pallet. From there it can be broken down into small parts which can be used in the coding of the site. Things like the header, buttons, and graphical elements like that.
