yes as a long time mapper myself, i have had enough of these half assed attempts to gain popularity through little effort, im on athlete's side all the way

It's not as if I'm MAKING any of these maps, it's just that I don't hate to play 'm ^^

At the end of the day they are the easy way out, the iceworlds and aim maps of our time have got the authors quick fame because for some reason people enjoy playing huge box maps with 2 light entities (yet they all complain when someone posts one on a forum) and it's just a no effort map as Wiggle said.

But, if they are so good why don't we see the likes of Dave J and Narby creating them? We don't because the maps are crap.

wait question, what exactly qualifies for an fy map? if you make something that could actually exist in real life, but its not a necessity for people to buy weapons, but you still can........ would that still be an fy map? even if there are no objectives other than kill the other people.

naw i make it in a water treatment center with lots of pipes and little puddles of water but prolly i make my scenes first.
