After 6 months of hard work, the map's finally finished. I'd like to thank FreakyMe for rewriting the map story description, Kyle for running testing servers for me, and Jake for helping me out with making a few things. This map has many custom models and textures all made by me, heyo.

This is the updated version, I bspzipped in the models and materials. That's why it's named de_stratocorp2.

Story Description:
De_stratocorp is set in an abandoned laboratory created by a company named StratoCorp.

StratoCorp was shut down when the government discovered the dangerous nature of their experiments, and the lab has long since fallen into disuse. It's 5 years later and a terrorist group, using the lab as a base of operations, has discovered a pathogen in the making; capable of wiping out an entire country in the event of open viral warfare. The terrorists plan to detonate explosives near one of the containment chambers, and cause the release of the virus inside. The US government has caught wind of this plan and has sent an elite Counter-Terrorism group to stop the operation..

the second and last shot are the most impressive as they stray the furthest from standard hl2 lighting themes.

Just had a run through the map, really amazing. A lot of custom content and brushwork. really nice job, hope to see it on servers.

Wow I'm really impressed, it surely looks like 6 months of work. The detail and architecture are very realistic.. i'll definitely be downloading this.

I don't think I particularly agree with some textures being used, HOWEVER...

I wouldn't bother. This map is very well done and congratulations! It is very clean, sharp, holds excellent brushwork, excellent usage of lighting in some of your shots as well as decals. It may not be the best out there, but you put a lot of time and effort into this project and it definitely paid off. Not many people get as far as you have.

I won't know anything in regards to gameplay as I don't plan on playing it, but I will still congratulate you on a job well done. :P
