well, dicks.

I shouldn't have bought MW2 :(

Looks like I won't be submitting an entry.

But if we get a judging panel, I'm calling first seat.

5. Your model must be submitted by February 1st, before midnight Pacific Standard Time (GMT -8)

That means there is a bit less than 2 and a half days left right? That's still a bit of time to get things done Stoop!

-edit- Also why the hell do I need a proxy to see duke nukem's pics, all I get is "site dont allowed" images.

ah, forgot to mention that the model has 6569 polys.

well, im a total ultimate and unforgotten NOOB! in 2d-art. thats all i can do with a paint program, so i hoped that using colors will let it all look flippy like for a colourful game...

I downloaded it with no trouble.

There's still some time guys, if you were planning on doing something really complex like a tank, then go for something simplified like an RC tank.

And I'll be making something super cute.

Speaking of tanks:

I would start over but having to remake the model I think would take longer then unwarping and texturing this one.

No idea if I can get this finished in time, but it's getting close, actually got it in-game :( Also, having specular and alpha on the same model seems to mess up, am I allowed to make the glass a seperate model file? It's what they do for all the L4D vehicles....

Are you using two different materials?

Yeah, separate mats, 3 to be exact. one for underbody and details, one for main body and one for windows. the windows are transparent in hammer and were transparent in-game before I added the envmap, so I am thinking it must be the reason? besides I cant think why valve would do the whole seperate glass thing in l4d otherwise?

Polycount is so high to combat source's horrible model lighting because the car was intended as a centerpeice model for an L4D map I was thinking of making, overall a bit unfinished but I guess I can polish it up later :)

But right now I'm super tired and sick, so I'm going to go to sleep and get this poll started tomorrow morning. That gives you guys an extra 10 or so hours if you want to keep at it.
