Still working on this. Got the basic layout of the fourth map done.

In the pic below, the escape route is in red. The yellow part is a change in the route that I'm thinking about. Will probably decide about it when the map is much further on.

Looks good, man. Maybe add some more foliage, don't be afraid to copy past a model one or two times if needed. I would help you more, but I'm not great at outdoors either, heh.

End of humanity sounds kinda cliche but it should work. Have you thought of a tagline?

No tagline just yet. Had enough trouble coming up with that name. It was either that or, "3 guys, 1 girl and an autoshotty".

make some of the panels on that fence "god is dead".
Small displacements, it makes a huge difference in making it look derelict.

Probably need to add a few more trees and work on making displacements appear smoother instead of jagged.

Beta 3.0 has been finished. It contains the first 5 out of 7 maps. There are a few nods towards different aspects of L4D as well as nods towards Valve's other games. There is also a sort-of mini-game in map 5, but I'll let you figure out what it is :smt039

Click here to download.

There are some custom sound effects in map 5 of this campaign so you may have to type "snd_rebuildaudiocache" into your console. Let me know if you manage to hear any train noises, when going onto any of the train tracks, without having to type in "snd_rebuildaudiocache" so I know if people have to or not for future reference.
