The Official Interlopers "Map Pimpage Thread"

I got this idea from a topic over on hl2word, basically you can post any screen of a map, no matter how little you have gotten done and get some feedback on it, so if you make a compile and see something you really like, or if you just want to get some feedback on a layout or idea post here instead of making a new thread for a small thing.

I'll get the ball rolling by posting some pics of a map I was making just to play around with all the nice new content we got from inferno.

I've been working on a little City 17 themed map in my spare time.
It's an early work in progress, but here goes.

As for inferno, worst map ever! JK. It really is a nice map, but is it not the orginal.

Shadow, pretty map, the repeating trees are the only thing I don't like.

I agree to some extend. They do look somewhat repetitive, although they fill up the area quite well.

I'll see if I can play around with the foliage a bit in my next art pass.

im using the hl2dm set up, but theres alot of stuff in the inferno map i want, will i have to use gcfscape to get at it all? its not appearing for me atm

THis is a little map layout of a DoD:S map i am making. The name (dod_swift) mostlikely wont be the name. It will have something to do with snow. But anyways, tell me what you think.

I know its not much but tell me if there are enough routes or too many and some ideas for obstacles.

Here is a 3 hour job I did yesterday morning. Obviously it's not done. It's not suppose to be a full map.
