I think the texture on the red light gave it away.

This is the finished image I linked earlier. This is the biggest and most expansive area Ive ever made in hammer so Im quite proud of how it turned out.

Back lights are too white, make the ground have a lower lightmap scale for epic shadows back there.

Screwing around with the deferred renderer. Interesting coming from lightmaps(as they aren't supported anymore)

This is more of a old bunker. But I do want to make a space ship environment soon.

Anyone else having problems with getting rain to work? I'm using func_precipitation either "rain", or "Particle Rainstorm" works.

I thought the spec map always needed to be greyscale

Not at all. Some games support colour specs. You'll find blue specs are good for metallic and orange for warmer wooden surfaces.

As for doing it in UDK, you could force it through a vector node and plugging it into a multiply with the spec.

How is that people is doing maps for a game that isn´t released? When i go to it through steam, i see no release date, no prepurchase option, no beta download option. I only see a fucking "add to my wished list".

How i can get it?

Either beg for a beta key or participate in the survey and hope you get a key that way.
