Looks a lot better with it, unless your going for a light colourful HL1 type thing.

I actually prefer it without the color correction.

The colour correction works, but I prefer it without
If only because it makes the scene darker and more dramatic with the sharp black/blue contrast lighting and textures

Have you tried colour correcting it to something less green?
I imagine blue might work for an underground cave

Doh, the awkward moment when you mix up the images
I thought the first one was the one with colour correction, not the second
In which case, for what it's worth, I think the second one looks a hella lot better

The problem is that I'm not seeing it from a gameplay perspective. From here, the non-CCed picture looks like a Christmas tree; it's a riot of colour, and looks pretty incoherent. However, when I'm actually playing it those strong colours will play a significant part in directing me.

Honestly, I can't judge between them - I'd personally work on the original lighting some more before delving into CCing.

Oh and a side note on water being in the cave - that's how they're formed, so ignore anybody who thinks it shouldn't be there.

Totally go with the color correction. The first one is too overly saturated and looks off.

While the scene looks better with colour correction, I would suggest you try to achieve a similar look with normal lighting first and then make minimal adjustments with colour correction.

It does look better and makes more sense now, though that railing still looks blocky, and that strip of orange is too vibrant. Feels more like the HL1 test chamber now which is cool.

That cylinder needs maintenance hatches and/or a bunch of moving parts. There are quite a lot of lights shining on a seemingly pointless concrete wall.

Where did that giant mound of debris come from? It looks like it was just dropped there magically. Normally when you have a big pile of debris, it's near a demolished structure made of the same material as the debris.

Additionally, that mound of debris seems like the only way to access that ledge on the large pillar structure. I'd suggest a stair case on two sides of the pillar; that go around the perimeter a short ways before reaching the ledge's height. Remove the debris mound too. It would just make more sense in my opinion.
