This looks unbelievably good, although I liked the lighting in the first screenshots better, I think it looked more "wet", so to speak.

But keep up the good work, I might just have to install CS:S to check out this map :D

I think the new lighting takes away the 'cosy' sorta lonely feeling, and makes it more L4D and creepy.

Just my opinion.

I don't like the new lighting.
The 2nd picture (old lighting) is amazing, the floor :)

The new lighting just doesn't work imo, the old stuff fits perfectly, looks real enough to be normal etc.

I just wanted to say wow, you've got some talent. That's a great train model, and this is an awesome looking map. I would like to suggest putting a large (ish) vehicle in the road right in-front of the terrorist zone, because as it is right now the terrorists seem a bit exposed.

I am not a fan of the new lighting, it went from a heavenly overcast to a place where Jack the Ripper might live...

and as for something different I think having a train death trap is already thinking outside the box in terms of CSS, but If you reduce the spawn layout to two-three CT's spawns and cut the T spawn in two and/or place the spawns inside the houses (just to reduce the chance of a CT getting an early shot on the T's) then that will also be something new...

I agree about the lighting, was fun to try some alternatives but i also liked the day-version better.

Excellent work, but go back to the first lighting. Its too dark and takes away from what you have made.

Keep it up :)

ooh :)

Make the bus accessible. CSS players (myself included) are suckers for vehicles they can take cover inside.

Wow, this is looking great!

One thing, the lighting is nice in the new pic, but the orange is actually a bit too strong. Try to blend in a bit more white into that orange color. :smt023

I really, really hope you don't consider this release to be final.

That was so unbelievably disappointing - a map with so much potential left feeling half-finished and empty. Unfurnished houses, visible map boundaries, dirt textures which sound like concrete when walked on, no ambient sounds at all, a few places where playerclips are needed to stop players' movement being halted by curbs which are just a bit too high, or attic stairs which are just a little too far off the ground to be travelled up without having to jump.
No nav mesh, no objectives.

This map has the chance to be perfect, but as it stands it is nowhere near a full release.

(I'm only mentioning the negatives. There are a lot of positives as well)

Judging from his last post I don't think he considers it final, he just doesn't want to work on it anymore.
