Hello interlopers.net!

Chernobyl is in development for about ten months now and we had already a lot of fun developing this great project.
So enjoy our presentation, we hope you like it.

The Story
  • June 16 2012, an epidemic breaks out in America, thousands of refugees escape to Europe away from the walking dead.
  • June 18 2012, the President of the United States declares a state of emergency and closes the US borders.
  • June 19-21 2012, the first signs of the virus begin to appear in Hamburg, Cologne (Germany), Madrid (Spain) and London (United Kingdom).
  • June 24 2012, big part of West-Germany is overrun. The United Nations send military forces to defend civilians and to confine the infected.
  • July 1 2012, United Kingdom, Spain and Germany are almost completely destroyed, with the virus swiftly taking over France, Netherlands, Denmark, Austria, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Poland. Law and order crumbles throughout Europe, as governments fly out to safety in the Pacific.
  • July 7 2012, the virus reaches Sweden, Lithuania, Belarus, Russia, Ukraine. The rest of the world descends into total chaos.

Welcome to the dead zone of Chernobyl! You and your friends are refugees from the USA who have fled to the Ukraine. During your stay, the virus epidemic has escalated throughout Europe and you have found yourself lost in the vast lands of Eastern-Europe. Against the odds, you reach Chernobyl in search of rescue. There, you will fight your way through a big trainyard, the ruins of the ghost town Pripyat, the wastelands of Chernobyl and lastly the Reactor.

What can you look for:
  • Tonnes of custom content, textures, models, music & sounds
  • The full content for everyone until Chernobyl is released
  • A damned rebuild of Pripyat and environment
  • A european setting
  • Wonderful new sounds
  • Some epic moments
  • Alternate game paths

At this point we will point out that we make a Chernobyl-Campaign, not a S.T.A.L.K.E.R-remake, so you will not see Snorks and similiar in our campaign, sorry for this.

Ah Fukushima is boring and it dont has the decay about over 25 years ;)
We started this project a few weeks before the catastrophe in Japan, it had looked like a bad joke.

I only wish it wasn't L4D2. As I don't own the game.
