sorry for oveflowing your topic now i did a test more in your situation
note my model uses 17 convex parts with a diverent material id to cast the shadow in half live 2 deathmatch.... sourcecore 1


The model has 35 convex parts
Have rebuilt the model (looks better now) but still no result

Now i have no idea how to get each part of the model to have its own material id (i'm using 3ds max 8)

Plus am now also getting a new error

make_triangles:calc_triangle_representation: Cannot convert

Have now fixed the problem

It was the collision model that was screwing up, so remade it and it now works

try to keep the nummer colission huls under 16 mine is 17 convex hulls
