Monitor calibration?

Just a question: Is it necessary or recommended to calibrate the computer monitor, if you intend to make custom textures?

Are you using a tablet pc? Thats for the pen on tablet pcs.

ROFLhacks that's a totally different thing. Anyway... probably not. If you were making something for print then yeah you'd probably want it to be calibrated so that the output looks natural but on and LCD its going to look the same on most other LCDs.
