We are currently looking for a 2D/3D artist to join our team full time on location, to work on Dark Matter, and future titles.

Familiarity with mainstream 3D and 2D software, such as Photoshop and 3DS Max, Maya or Blender
Mastery of 3D production techniques such as modeling, rigging and unwrapping meshes
Excellent texturing and texture painting skills are an absolute must
A well-developed visual ability that transcends polygon counts and shader limitations.
Understanding of the techniques and tricks that can leverage additional visual fidelity from a scene.
An understanding of animation and animation techniques is a plus.
The ability to paint, sketch or draw on analogue media is a plus.
Familiarity with Unity3D is a plus

Responsibilities

We are looking for a resourceful, experienced artist who can work by contributing to a project, rather than just strictly following directions from on high. Interwave is a small team of passionate developers, and we’re looking for someone with the artistic and technical flair to bring games to life.

From creature design to conceptualization and realization of complex models, environment art and effect design, we’re looking for an artist who’s not afraid to flex his creative muscle on a number of disciplines, in a multicultural environment that encourages thinking out of the box.

If you’re interested in applying for any of the positions, send your CV with a cover letter and work samples or a portfolio to jobs@interwavestudios.com. Incomplete applications will be binned instantly, and your portfolio and work samples will carry the day over any qualification.

If Ben Palmer is still a part of Interwave's management, I cannot recommend working for them.
