i am now officially confused.
edit: oh. when game type is set to None, player height is somewhere around 128. when it's set to UTgame, player height is 96. i never even knew that option was there.
i had fun once, and it was awful.

It must default the collision cylinder to 128 when not using UTGame and UTGame changes it to 96.

The player height is always the same, the position of the camera is what changes

I'm sure there is, I will ask my coders.

More than likely it is in a uc file though.

next question:
Image
can i assign BSP/CSG faces to smoothing groups, or do i need to wait until i make a proper model out of this bit?

no smoothing in udk for bsp

you can export it to a model and then work with it though
