Throwing my hat in!

Potential Setting

Gordon is transported to the broken ruins of a ship yard/dry dock, maybe with an abandoned submarine exterior as the central feature, possibly a custom model? He has to work his way up to a transmitter atop the sub to get help/be rescued. Still playing with ideas and blocking out in Hammer.

Some really early WIP blockout. I think getting a roughed out submarine in there might be a good next move.

Reminds me the bit before the snipers in HL2, awfully confusing at first but a lot of fun when you figured out the architecture.

Some very slight progress.
Mostly breaking up some spaces to make them more combat friendly, and trying to find a graceful way to keep the player from just jumping down and short circuiting parts of the map without awkward walls.

The player starts on the far right in this screenshot, and works their way down to ground level. I want the player to start with a vantage point, and scaling down can be fun, but way too easy to bypass. I'll keep playing with it.

Really like there it's going.
What if make some sort of warning sign and show player, what will happened if he jumped (a boxes falling down and smashes on the floor, corpses on the floor, etc.)

Thanks! Not a bad idea, environmental storytelling can be fun.

Still cranking on this! Very slow progress, but got a couple good hours in tonight. Blocked out some new spaces, and reworked the control tower.

That white concrete blends with the sky but I'm sure anything from you will come out magnificent as always.
