I'm sure you can work around that for a while until the new tools are released.

which is obviously right around the corner

They'll just release the perfect alpha and never fix it.

Lack of structure somehow seems to have created a sort of laziness with them as I look at it. How are you gonna get in any financial trouble with steam profits supporting the company?

Truth is they can take all the time they want and it only seems to have deadened them when I look at the rate of productivity. There are a lot of things they should be on top of that they aren't and it's not a lack in people to fill positions, it's just their lack of doing much with the positions they have.

My mod used to work as playable-only using the custom folder although with terrible performance. Right after the update the sky became a purple checkboard.

Ohh fucking valve....

I think what pisses me off more then anything is that there are no notes on any of these updates for the SDK. I mean how hard is it to put in a few lines of text to tell us what this update is doing with the SDK?

Cause then if it broke something of ours, (which seems very easy to do) we could at least know what was changed and what is a possible fix it. They just leave people in the dark too much. It's not giving out a safe level of information, it's incompetence from the people behind the updates.

Odd. I don't have any problems with our mod. I haven't checked in the last week or so though. I'm sure it would have been reported repeatedly on our moddb page if there were any though.
