Silent Escape

Postby Stormy on Mon Jul 29, 2013 11:14 am

Just finished playing through Silent Escape. It's a very good mod, one of the ones that gives you hope for hl2 modding. I wish I had have recorded a playthrough video.

For the most part it is a very pretty mod, a lot of attention has gone into colour correction and lighting, and although it's often done to overkill levels, the fog particles look purdy.

There is also a fair bit of voice acting in the mod, which is delivered poorly but gets the message across very well. This is one of the mods you should play. Get it.

Cool, looks like they imitated the HL2 art & gameplay style very well. Makes it look like a legit expansion.

Bookmarked for later pwning, thanks for the recommendation.

I've been meaning to play some mods. This seems like a good start.

Damn says mirror is down. I don't particularly want to install Desura either...

EDIT: nvm I already had Desura, also I get a "cant find library client error". From what I'm reading in the comments there appears to be a lot of bugs? Ill have to find out for myself.
