Sometimes the banner ads don't load, blame Google

The line dividing the signature from the post has not changed colour and neither has the background to the post so not sure why you've thought that..?

But google's a hero!

As for the lines, maybe it's IE8, there's definitely small differences between it and 7 and firefox like text on some sites being slightly bolder or whatnot.

You can now hide the sidebar on the main site, should you wish to use the full site for tutorials and such

Of the rotating site logo banners, I'm interested in knowing more about the ice-bound ship with the polar bear and the Neotokyo-looking one with the night time city and neon lights.

Are these from a map/game/design?

The "ice-bound ship" is the Borealis from Half-Life 2: Episode 3 and the one with the neon lights and the blimp is a map made by Wills for the mod Jailbreak.

A really random thing, but if you're searching tutorials, you get the usual "writing i" symbol.

When searching forums, it remains as the selecting hand.

Just a bit odd.
