Nothing was copy/pasted, I can assure you.

Yeah, that's a big problem, this is because the sound system of Left 4 Dead is broken and we can't do much about it.

all the above and more...i REALLY REALLY hope the community will get this campaign. from my own experience i've seen most ppl whine about too dark, too hard, too complicated finding the path etc..this one is as realistic as it can get. very RL-like campaign. 5 stars!!!
Amazing work.

Valve should make this official if it's successful.

Hmm I am not sure if it's the 2nd or 3rd lvl, the one in the tombs, with all the underground tunnels and dead ends.

I wasn't a huge fan of the church/mansion place... it was visually wonderful but so many winding staircases and different doors it all got a bit confusing in the rush to get back down.

Oh yeah, of course there was a bit of copy/pasting in this level, but hey, when you go with a given architecture in mind, you don't expect to change it right in the middle of a construction. :D

Played it today, unfortunaly I missed the first and the last map but, Holy maclaloly! This is awesome! You guys really hit the spot of how a good l4d map should be.It felt so well done in every aspects. But as I said, have not been able to play it the whole. Gonna do so soon. Anyway, just want to say. True Awesomeness to you!

I am going to wait for 1.2 to release so I can dodge some of the bugs being encountered. but wow this campaign looks phenomenal.

Ok, I gave most of the campaign a quick run through with friends, and realized... it's very confusing at times. Especially those mines or whatever they are.... you're never quite sure if you're going the right way and all the corridors look the same, which makes sense but at the same time can confuse people. It's a beautiful map, very nice looking, but it has some issues with gameplay flow. The whole time it felt kinda jerky (the flow) and ended up frustrating myself and my friends a few times along the way.

One tip: if you're going to make a side area with goodies and whatnot, make it small. My friends went into the side area next to the train expecting to find the saferoom, which ultimately lead to some "URGH!" and "AARGH!"s.

As far as community campaigns go, this is the best, but it could definitely use some work when it comes to flow.

The fact that the campaign is not a brainless walk through the park following one precise and boring path is kind of the experience we wanted to achieve. I realize it's not exactly in line with expectations or the way Valve does it.

It's nothing to do with multiple pathing, it's to do with a confusing layout.

It's primarily the sewer area that causes problems.

Also people get stuck on logs a lot, and some other places, but primarily the logs.

I didn't say anything about multiple path-ing though.

Ouch dude, that stung, I added a little positive thing at the end there, couldn't you do the same?

I just pointed out a few things here and there that could be improved upon, make the side areas a bit smaller and try to visually distinguish different areas from one another. This isn't me asking for a brainless walk through the park (even though, if your campaign was super linear no one would notice because of the good visuals)
Ask yourself this, if you made those side areas smaller, maybe gave a bit more indication where the safe room is, and tried a bit harder to make the tons of corridors look different, would it really make the campaign any LESS fun?

I'm not going to go and tell you how to do your job, but if you're looking for a serious career (because im srs bsns) I would start learning how to take the communities feedback, and act upon it instead of insulting them.
