the first release of dod:s won't be too different from what it is now
they're just working on getting it onto the source engine, they are prolly updating some models and textures and the maps
but thats about it for the first release.

I was talking to someone whom claimed that he is a beta tester (although i am not sure if this is true or not, i am still ganna post the rumors ive heard.) and he said that "the game a bit dissapointing (i told him betas arent supposed to be pleasing) because the models for guns and players looked the same (think that is not true but w/e) and the 3d sky looked grainy and out of place (this could be true... 3d sky in dod would probably not feel as good because in DOD i like to think that i can be anywhere in the map... Especialy the Dday map...)"

you can buy DOD:S over steam seperatly... they will probably make a pack that you can either BUY it seperatly, or you can buy it in a big bundle pack


Im guessing they are making more mods like as if you could play as a combine soldier or something...

you mean like op4 except hl2? thatd be cool. all this discussion about how the combine overwatch are "enhanced" and stuff, i hope that if they do make a mod like that, we'd get to see the advantages of being overwatch first-hand.

Anyway I bought Silver so I can tell you whether it is worth it! I am a big fan of DoD so hopefully they won't dissapoint. Also that friend might be right about the 3rd sky. I noticed in some pictures it looked kind of noobish.
