Bio:
I have been mapping for about 3 years now and started to model about a year ago. I also do a lot of graphic design like Corporate Design (logos, letterheads, etc.). and some video editing from time to time.

@ visselke: Try to make a few (a lot) brushes which are going to be your sunrays. Then use a transparent texture on them and change them to none solid. You also can try to vary between the level of transparency. Lets say you make 3 different textures each of them just a little bit more or less transparent then the other. Dont know if thats the best way of doing it but it works fine for me...the other thing you can do is make a model. ;-)

always used the vol light model or the texture that foes with it, will try fidling a bit with transparancy
