Your lighting is almost perfect*, you have a good amount of detail to keep the eye interested but not distracted from the main visuals, you have a somewhat above average idea of what your doing with models. There wasn't a lot of variation, mostly cities / buildings but I think you definetly get a 5 in my books.

well done!

*And to me, thats a big F'n deal!

Quality work Albatros. I didn't know you were working on HAJ. Some serious talent in that team.

Hey jister,

sorry for not answering this any sooner - so much going on.

Well, thanks :), in fact you don't need to buy DoD:S to play some of my maps.

Right now you'll get to play Ardennes by downloading the latest RnL alpha, and, hopefully some time soon,
Arnhem for HaJ will also be available.

If you should buy DOD:S though, I'll upload the latest versions of Soviets, Nuernberg and Grafenstein for you (can't say they get played too often though - Orange Fight Arenas seem to be so much more interesting and fun to most public players).

Cheers.

I've always had the feeling that your style would look better in UE3, not sure why. Have you ever tried work with it?

BTW: This portfolio is incredible.

Heya,

yeah, I did work a bit with UE3. Didn't feel much more comfortable with it than with hammer, also it didn't support many games I like to work for. Right now, the Valve/Steam SDK is absolutely OK for me to work with. It's a flexible and reliable system with lots of potential for a long time.

I've got some stuff cooking I've been working on for 3 months in a row now, hope I can make a small presentation of some of it in july. ;)

P.S.:

Sorry, really not the best behaviour to reply weeks after the question is asked, but I always feel the urge to update the 'folio before I push it upstairs, and lately I've done most of my work for mods that are either under disclosure *or* not really willing to see stuff published that is far from finished. So, sorry again and thanks! everybody for the comments :).
