Borax focuses in vertical battles, team balance and much more. This map offers some beautiful sights and great fun.

Blu team must escort the cart to the Red's Base. Here, Red have their Rocket, that they plan to destroy BLU HQ with. Fortunately for Blue, red is also dumb enough to have a powerful fan under the rocket.

Blu takes this to their advantage, moving the cart to the fan, it blows the cart into the air hitting the rocket. The rocket explodes into pieces and Blue wins!

Changelog RC2:
- Improved Optimization
- Added loads of Occluders (improves optimization further)
- Fixed invisible block for the stairs at cp2
- Fixed Red being able to access their previous spawn after a point is capped
- Added a additional path in the blue building where the cart goes through
- Adjusted ammo and health packs

Felt obliged to sign up and say how much i like this map. The explosion at the end is fantastic, a real reward for winning, and the areas have obviously been set out well so that neither side is unbeatable. 10/10 i'd say, a very gorgeous, functional, and unique map, The eagle is a great touch and a lot of work has obviously gone into it.

I vote for map spotlight, purely because it's a brilliant blend of substance and style.

In the first pic the cliff behind the cardboard cow seems to suddenly end. :O

Overall, it's nice. It's nothing mind-blowlingy new but the polish is there. Good work. :)

Don't really play TF2, but there is alot of really nice stuff going on in those videos. Awesome looking. What are those songs?. I'd like to look them up as well!, hehe.

what's performance like? During the fly-through it looked like this map might rape older spec machines.

It's a miracle, the thing runs great, but it's not optimized very well at all, large chunks of the levels are being rendered that you can't possibly see, and the layout of the map lends it self to be optimized very well (relatively narrow with lots and lots of turns)

It looks like it would be a great map, and I LOVE seeing cinematic physics in a community map more than anything in the world.

Only crit besides the optimization is that I saw some models that were very dark compared to the rest of the map, and they looked out of place. Like a big dark rock along the path.

Im very suprised that it runs this well without any FPS problems. So Im glad that that turned out good. For those dark rocks, they are all fixed in B2, which is coming out later today.

I loved this map, it's incredibly detailed and it runs pretty smooth considering that there is a lack of optimization.

Spotlight, anyone?

Beta 3 Changelog:
- Added NoBuild brush over the Fan
- Added playerclips where needed
- Added playerclip in areas where people could get stuck
- Added new Holograms for each point, thanks Artesia
- Removed wierd brush in Reds spawn
- Changed Reds first spawn. They now spawn in the original spawn. But will change spawn after the first cap.
- Changed how The shortcut and spawns are used. Now, after Point 2, the shortcut will open, after Point 3, Blue will spawn in the forward spawn.
- Fixed certain displacements
- Fixed explosions and jarate doing damage through the setup gates
- Improved optimazation

We'll I see that I havent updated this thread here on interlopers for quite some time now. But RC2 is out now so feel free to download it
