My theme is modern house. I'm going to combine reference pictures to my liking.

Here's the first part of the house or the first quarter of it at least. I plan to add a guest room, living room, and kitchen with a bed room upstairs.

Got one of my glowing crystal thingy done just need to uvw that thing still.

I dunno if I'm arsed enough to make another one, making the base of the thing was kinda tedious work which doesn't even show.. or maybe I just don't know how to make things quicker it was a whole lot of extruding and collapsing and target welding to get that kind of look but at least I'm satisfied now. :)

edit: took a picture from another angle, first one was kinda crappy

you know what helps, making some sort of prefab, texutre it etc.
then make allot of different versions with it by moving the geo around (rotating it etc)

Yeah I thought about doing that but I figured it out just after I was done, meh :D

Played around with some textures, phong is so hard to get to look the way I want it to look like :(

I'd say it needs to be light emitting and somewhat translucent, right? :D

I think I'm going to rise the entire house off the ground so it can match the pool and also delete that concrete part between the ocean and pool titles.

Just got the kitchen, bedroom, and gallary room to finish.

I hope you tone down the HDR. I can't see any detail in the white floor texture at all.

I'm sure you where partly joking, but point taken. I made the shadows darker and added a little bit of blue to the lighting. Not sure how to tone down the HDR just yet, but I'll continue tweaking it. It's looking better though.

I'm new to interlopers, but I'm not new to Source mapping. Ever since I started (playing) Source, I've been making maps. (Obviously, my first maps were terrible) I Wanna throw my hat into the ring:

Not to shoddy Capn'.

I'd recommend you up the texture scale on the banks and disable shadows for the fence that connects the 2 bridges together.

I forgot about that. XD I was too busy trying to get the skybox to fit seamlessly. Hard to find a point of reference to see how much I need to move the sky_camera.
