The reflection on the metal roof and pipe on the right seems wrong. Its reflecting alot of orange when the near area is grey or yellow. I gues you got a dev texture hidden behind the wall or a misplaced cubemap.

Replaced old tree and made a continuation of alley. It might have cluttered the scene. Dunno though. Your thoughts?

Looking better so far. I like the new cables coming from the electrical box, and I'm really loving the ivy on the wall there. Nice model.

It still could use a bit more detailing, but it's looking great. I like the addition to the alley, it looks more complete.


I also agree that the Gurren Lagann poster should get removed eventually. It just clashes in my opinion.

PS: I liked the old tree better for some reason. I guess the broader leaves looked a bit nicer.

The scene is about composition. The poster must fit in with the scene. You must be consistent. Remember, real life does not apply to games; what makes sense in real life rarely does in a game. The poster stands out because it does not look like it should be there or in that style within the context of the scene.

Therefore, the argument of 'purpose' is irrelevant.

I mean, come on. The scene has dominant whites, greys, yellows and greens. That poster is mainly reds and oranges. It attracts attention for no reason, and it shouldn't.

im going to say "yes", just to spite him. and he better not just quote himself either. he better type it out.

honestly if more red/orange appears on the let side of the composition then balance will be regained.

I would choose another poster. More like something simple. Perhaps a white background with a yellow stripe (diagonal) and a yellow text in Japanese letters. Something like that.

While a poster in reality should attract attention, I don't think some little detail should attract your attention in such a composition.
