Did this work?

Also, I'm not surprised they reused old content, but L4D1 is kinda old.

Crap, sorry. Ignore it. That's the command to draw RTT shadows... I just remembered.

Dude, Gary, it's okay. Calm down. It's not even a big deal, you know? I love you no matter what, through all your mistakes. When I get home I'll check out whatever you need me to do, because you and I are friends and friends do things for each other. I'm here for you. man.

Okay...

I'm surprised that there is no command to draw the depth textures.

I lol'd.

I don't think anyone should care that Valve used a few L4D models in CSS... It kind of makes sense; I would if I were them. And it looks alright.

Went through all the shadow commands btw and couldn't see any that did anything, including some not listed on the SDK console list.

That looks like more than reused models but whatever. I didn't even notice it until I saw those Hammer screen shots.

There's also a possibility of Zombie Mod being an official game mode just like Gun Game, but it will be post-launch DLC:

I hope they don't ruin it or anything. I'm afraid they'll restrict configuring it and modify it in to some abomination.

I hope Valve don't do a TF2 and add "too much" to CS:GO.

Zombie Mod for CSS is totally different to anything else: "defend" mode is pretty extreme with CTs needing to carefully pick spots to camp, whilst "escape" mode requires a lot of on the fly thinking for picking routes / where to hold a defensive position. The only similarity to other games is the zombie theme.

It would be really nice to see it get some professional polish and implemented into a game.

To be honest I have no problem with more features being added, the more variety they can add the better. I started playing long before 1.5 when it was still a mod, so my interest in a vanilla experience has long since passed - if they can throw in something different then that may prove a good incentive :)
