i'm not making it up dude. it is truly one of the best moments in film i have seen in years.

It depends on how much of a fan of the comics you are. IN the past the final scene was always something leading to what will happen but involved characters we have already seen. Hard core fans of the Avengers saw this last scene and all collectively shat themselves. But joe-roger is right, I was shocked to see so many people leaving as soon as the credits came up. Every movie since the first Iron Man movie have had an end credit scene and it has been a fantastic way to market the other movies since they all help tie in the stories and give you a taste of what is to come. If you missed them, here is what you missed...

1. In the first Iron Man, Nick Fury was introduced.
2. In the Incredible Hulk, Tony Stark meets with General Ross.
3. Iron Man 2, Thors hammer, Mjolnir, is found.
4. The end of Thor, Stark and Erik Selvig talk about the tesseract as Loki watches.
5. Finally at the end of Captain America, they show the first look at the Avengers movie.

And if you really want to know what happens at the end of the Avengers but do not want to see the movie again...

The alien from the beginning is talking to someone in a throne, finally that person is revealed to be Thanos. Who is best known from the story line "the Infinity Gauntlet".

Z@C: Doner kebab meat is what shawarma is all about. The place here at Fort Hood is called Salem's and they have doner kebab meat on a vertical spit. That is the stuff i'm talking about. It's out of this world. put some of that white sauce and some cucumbers and some crumbled feta on it, and dude its fucking delicious. i'm gonna go get some tonight.

btw, the avengers movie has accidentally increased the sales of shawarma shops nationwide by 80% over the weekend. maybe it will get much more popular now. but then i hope to GOD that they don't destroy it with american ideas like chemical preservatives or ketchup (for shame, america, for shame).

EDIT: Where the hell is my Portal 2 Easy-Bake-Oven-Style Level Editor? I am surprised and outraged by the delays. I never would have expected such flagrant disregard for fans from a company as prestigious and punctual as Valve Software.
