I was reading this article talking about how we "could" genetically modify the human race to "fix climate change" by making us smaller in size and removing out need to eat meat(so we don't have to grow lifestock).

If we are going to genetically modify the human race, why would we want to become a bunch of vegan midget pussies. Fuck that.

I mean, it's supposed to get colder and the water is supposed to rise or someshit. We can't stop that. So, obviously we need to be larger and more hairy for the cold(like polar bears), and have gills and fins for swimming. Or wings.

So what would you rather be? A wimpy little vegan pussy, or awesome flying polar bear?

I think it will take scientists a long long time before they are able to modify the genes in such a way that we have control over features like that, if you follow scientific news.. it's more likely that gene modification will first be used to cure diseases and stuff like that

besides, who says we won't get more knowledge about our planet once our civilization reaches the true 'space age'
and we will be able to cool the earth down and have more control over its climate
and on top of that.. it's more likely that we eventually 'evolve' our selfs into sentient robots rather than staying in this weak fleshy body with DNA that gets damaged by aging and harmless radiation.

To be honest if you remove the post-processing effects I doubt it would look much better than Unreal 3. The only thing I see that has a large improvement is the particle effects. Still looks good though, hope they give us a UDK right from the start.
