Its amazing what you can do with sdk hammer, you can use it to do practically anything even things which completely go outside the purpose of the game you are mapping for

This is pretty fucking great.

Had you done this 4 years ago I'd have been all over you.

You can get most of the sounds in the game probably with some careful editing. It'll take a long time for ALL the sounds in the game, because you have to actually play the game, but you can get an emulator and disable some sound channels and mess with that. Also a lot of the time when a sound is played, it interrupts the music playing, so if you're recording sound while playing it you can just snip the audio around it and you should be good.

I don't know what sounds you need exactly, it seems like you most, if not all in that video.

i've just finished critical hits and missed attacks so i could use those, also that attack sound is the pound attack sound not the actual tackle sound effect, i got it from this:

having no pokemon seems to stop the music, that is also where i got the select sound

i got some of the sounds from a gameboy emulator, i never thought that disabling some of the sound channels would cancel out the music a little, making it easier for me to take the new sounds.

thanks for the tip srredfire, now i will be able to get any sound that i need
