So happy, I thought Valve pulled a Valve and didn't let me in on another beta. So after some one turned off the router when I was in the middle of a match in Blacklight: Retribution, I had to restart it and my steam.

To my ultimate delight it was included in the my steam start-up news when I got my steam up and running again. Downloading it right now. I think Gabe has shown his mercy upon a poor soul such as myself.

They haven't been letting me into any of their betas as of late (CS:GO, DOTA2, SFM) and it's beginning to hurt my feelings. Why, Valve? Do you not love me anymore? Is this for shaming Mike Durand into playing L4D2 with me? He wasn't even good!

Well if it came in your steam news window when that pops up and you closed it without looking at it then that might be why.

Turns out the exact same thing happened to me. I have it too, it's just sitting in my games list. I had no idea.
