yeah it is. CTs will spawn in a different location (like a hangar or garage) where they choose where they want to attack from, using teleports. The house in the middle is T spawn and they are defending it. Havent built the house yet though, its just a block.

But I'm having some doubts about the layout, need to playtest it. Not enough planning went into it, just sort of happened.

Should not be a problem. Several people here can provide servers for playtesting. I have a 16 slot server, schoft has a server too, so just join the lopers chat.

Yeah I was only asking because it looked quite square and I couldn't make out what the actual flow of the map was. I really like the look of the map and all the custom foliage is great. You don't want a great looking map with a bad layout. I'd love to join in on a playtest if you're planning one.

Does your map have a leak or something... those shadows are pitch black...

I'm missing the shadows of the detailed, tiny frames.
The windows on the background are tiled, you could fix that by scaling them up.

Workflow exercise, 2.5 hours from brush to layout completion, then pasted in the logic for floating platform I did before and made a few edits. Trying to do speedmapping, will post the video later.
It's a gimmick map! Balloonimap! But it might become something later. Mid is too big, would add building routes/blockers/places in a couple places. Running around it it might work better as CTF than koth. But for now it is balloonimap!

Any ideas for extra rooms? Its supposed to be a facility inside a mined out asteroid (inspired by Gundam Wing and Dead Space mostly...) so I have a fair amount of reference, but I'd like to see what you guys think first before I start pushing stuff out again.

The lighting is really bland. You should spice things up with oranges, reds, greens, blues, etc. Try using color correction too.
