What's with that left wall in the second picture? Looks like the brickwork was a facade and has been peeled off like a thick piece of paint.

I was testing how to make interesting enemy encounters and I came up with this thing. It mainly uses scripted sequences to play animations but also a few other things.
I also decided to give out the editable map file, so if you're interested you can get it from this link.
You may also do what ever you want with the map. :)

@massive: it reminds me of Mission: Improbable 3. Go look at those images on Mod DB and tell me they don't look similar.

Well,i have a trainstation map,its far from finished.Got some pics here.If you have any suggestions, feel free to reply.

Note:In the first picture you see a combine food supplier.I made that food supplier a health charger,I just placed the health charger underneath the model and it worked.

crazy man, try using some different textures for the walls. as practice, try to recreate a train station hallway from half-life 2 using some of the textures they used, such as plaster and stone textures. also, try using light_spot instead of generic light entities...that way you dont get a blooming effect on the ceiling.

im not even gonna talk about the outside area right now.

I think the stairs do look very out of place in the first picture. Try to make an platform in the middle of it and change the textures to one which is ment for stairs, search for "stairs" or "trim" I belive, in hammer. I think if you do this, they will become much more interesting, and aswell the room will not look so much as a box, that the walls need to be extended to fit the new stairs :)
If that may not fit in good, you can allways try to make the length of the steps about 1 1/2 (or mroe) of the height, so it will get a more majestic/epic look.

Then the walls are now empty, you need strips eight on the bottom or at the top, could be anything really. Possibly you wont need this if you change the textures to the ones Joe where talking about, as they already have strips.

Good job anyway! I really dig that outdoor scence though it now feels kinda empty ;)
