Are you making use of light_spot? You can reduce the amount of bloom on the walls by moving those generic light entities away from the wall about 32 units. also, light entities and spotlight glows have an HDR bloom setting...where 1 = 100%, .5 = 50%, and 0 = 0% bloom. set the bloom down to .25 and see if it makes things look better.

Yes I am, I know how to use lighting. The bloom is just from some over saturated sprites, I tuned those down. :)

Now make another rocket that shoots up in the air, hits that rocket, they both explode and make more rockets, which fly into each other, which makes even more rockets.

When I tested my map recently I made a thread, gathered some people and hosted it myself just by loading the map in console. You should try that if you can but believe me it's hard work getting it all organised :>

Just join the interlopers chat ... getting enough people for playtesting is never really easy.

I have a server, but I need to be there, since it needs to be launched and so on (saved money).

Started this 5 days ago,

Working on creating futuristic exterior environments, I was hoping to create a citadel in the middle of the ocean
but because I'm so picky about accessibly of all buildings I've had to change my plan drastically. I'm hoping to use this for a machinima project if I can ever get it finished.

Maybe I can create some sort of glass dome around it, or just have all access restricted
to interiors, I've been wanting to create hazardous vacuums. Would be neat to get sucked out
of an airlock.

I think it looked way better with a day time look, not space. The space lighting is way to green.

I would like to see it with a normal sky. Could be an interesting one, of an alien planet, with huge planets visible or something ... but I don't really like the outer space look.

It's not final of course, just trying to get a rough idea of what it could look like.
The skybox texture is horribly low res, and the ambient color is from an HL1 map,
but like you said Sathor, I think creating a polluted atmosphere with giant planets close
by would be pretty neat.

in the space picture, the sun angle on the planet's surface is coming from the far left but the sun angle on the buildings is coming from the right. the contrast between light and dark should be much harsher, with nearly pitch black on the dark side.
