Gabe Newell: Reflections of a Video Game Maker (Jan 2013 vid

Postby ThePain on Tue Feb 05, 2013 2:22 am

Hour long talk Gabe Newell gave a week ago. Talks about the History of Valve, game design, the organization of Valve, the emergence of economies on Steam and TF2, what they need in an employee at Valve, really all across the board.

It's quite simple really. I want to be a professional level designer. I want this to be my job.

They probably wont be anywhere for a bit, but Valve tends to put up their presentations on the publications section on their site.

I think this adds to the fire of making things for the steam store.

Anyone else notice those extremely erect nipples right at the start?
