More Half-Life 3 rumours? Why not

Postby Blink on Wed Oct 02, 2013 2:32 pm

It seems Valve's instance of the JIRA project management tool was made public and some eagle eyed internet person spotted groups for Half-Life 3 and Half-Life 3 Core.

Although the link is no longer available, Rock Paper Shotgun are reporting that the Core list had Adam Foster, Jesse Cliffe and others.

Make of it what you will.

It ought to be at least early next year when they finally fuckin announce it, and these two recent developments are promising at least, even if they're very minor things.

But yeah, source-maps is right, everyone already knows Valve has been working on it this whole time. Didn't Gabe say that they wanted us to be generally amazed when they officially announced HL3/EP3?

And Kraid mentioned in the other trademark thread about the game being a SteamOS launch title. It really does sound logical of Valve to have it coincide with the launch of SteamOS and Steam Machines.

PS: Kelly Bailey is back in action?! My ears are wet for his delicious music.

Considering how most, if not all, other consoles ship with top tier titles at launch, it makes sense that Valve would release theirs with their flagship franchise.

Saw this with mine own eyes, happy (albeit not surprised in the slightest) to see Foster on HL3.
