I noticed a model forum was created. I was wondering if you could create an art and coding forum as well.

Why exactly are we turning down a coding forum?

There already a modelling forum and a feedback forums so I think that is enough, and people go to http://www.hl2coding.com and http://www.hl2world.com for coding tutorials.

Because there are virtually no coders here? Any chance of a simple "omgwtfdothisforhl2withoutanycodingknowledgeatall" kind of tutorial would be just silly.

I come here for mapping, nothing else...

though if we were linked to a good coding page i would give it a whirl, but really, an ART section? i love art, no doubt, but really. I can just go to my art classes so i dont care what you guys do... (yes, i finaly stoped doing my art solo, i needed a brushup too... XD)

Bingo. That's exactly what I was trying to get at. Snarkpit has an art section and it get's used for showing off everything from textures to digital art.

the modelling forum was put up bout a week ago and it's done alrightish. Considering we haven't quite got enough ammo to get that afloat (although it's getting better) I think it will be a while before there is a need for a coding forum.

I know this is a decade old bump but the modeling section is doing really good now and I think with the huge jump we had in members a Coding section would be an awesome addition to the site. Most of the good coding forums are dead now and I know Blink was looking for something to jump productivity in the site. I know there are a few coders on the site and I'm not sure how many of the new members are coders, but I am sure there are at least a few. I know I am a beginning coder and I could use the help and provide a little. I also know there are quite a few others who would like to learn some programming as well.
Their first album was better.

Problem is. We have a whole 2 coders here. It really wouldn't work out atm.
