well, first off, you dont have to run everything through steam. second, you dont have to go through all the crap like writing shaders for custom materials. did you map for hl1?
you dont need to write shaders for every texture, thatd be stupidmike-o wrote:dont ask me why you have to write shaders for simple textures, i didnt code the damn engine.
