Many of you have already seen the pics of DoD:S. An elite mapper over at Valtitude named Ginger Lord (some of you may know him by his famous DoD maps dod_density dod_beirville) has provided us some pics of DoD:S in action and previews of the new dod_density. The textures looked smeared because they have been converted directly from the old DoD textures. Enjoy.

first 3 are in cs:s 4th didnt work for me, 5, 5a i still hate those stupid gun models even if they are accurate the still seem low res.

Is he converting them over Spartan, or are Valve taking care of it?

He is having someone else convert them for him. When they do get converted they should be much higher res textures, or materials, whatever they call them in the new editor. :)

1: i suppose these are FAKE cuz dod: s has access to sdk and i think thye hsould have made a hud by now....

no... the map is made for dod:S but is compiled in cs:s just now as u can see from the guns in the first few screens

cr4ig do you really think the guys making dod:source need to compile it on cs? why woudl they do that if they have all the tools to compile it on dod?

they can easly compile it on their own src engine...

this is fan art (modelpack for cs: source and a map for cs: source)
